GENERAL:

Please know your limits. You assume all risk, personal or otherwise, when you venture out on the water. We’re all here to have fun, so play safe.

Absolutely zero alcohol or cannabis is permitted on site and neither will be allowed to be consumed while out on the water. Consuming alcohol while boating is illegal.

Cabin Fever Kayak has the right to cancel reservations if we feel an individual renter is currently under the influence of drugs or alcohol. An administration fee of 50% of your reservation fee will be charged.

Cabin Fever Kayak will not be held responsible for valuables left in vehicles and will not assume any responsibility for damage to vehicles left on site.

Vehicles should not be parked in the Black River Cheese Factory parking lot while occupants are out on the water.

Renters who park their vehicles along the side of the road do so at their own risk.

Vehicle keys can be left in our office for safe keeping while you’re out on the water.

CANCELLATIONS:

Reservations may be cancelled up to 12 hours before their start time without incurring a penalty. Cancellations within 12 hours of a reservation will incur a cancellation fee of $10. Reservations cancelled by Cabin Fever Kayak due to harsh weather will be refunded in full. No shows or missed bookings will not be refunded.

WEATHER:

Weather cancellations will be at the discretion of Cabin Fever Kayak. If a rental is cancelled because of weather, a full refund will be issued.

Generally, weather cancellations will be issued when strong winds or heavy rain are active or forecasted. Check the local weather forecast or contact us before your arrival.

BOAT RENTALS:

A waiver is required by our insurer and must be signed when you arrive for your reservation.

Anyone under 18 years of age is considered a minor and must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver. ID will be required for proof of age.

Anyone under 16 must have an adult accompany them on the water.

Without a signed waiver a rental boat will not be issued.

Renters assume all responsibility for items taken with them while out on the water.

A $25 fee will be issued for boat retrieval if you cannot complete your trip either due to fatigue or weather.

PARK & LAUNCH:

You can launch your own non-motorized watercraft from our site for a fee of $10.

A waiver is required by our insurer and must be signed before launching your own boat. Feel free to print it and sign it to save time on site.

Due to limited parking, on site parking priority will be given to watercraft renters over park & launch renters.

Only non-motorized watercraft can be launched from our site.

PETS:

Pets must be leashed and under control while on site, and must not be left in vehicles or on site while their caregivers are out on the water.
